experience in the Qualified Intermediary industry servicing Los Angeles,
Ventura, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. Prior to joining API
she spent 14 years as a commercial real estate broker handling sales and
lease negotiations and 15 years with a major bank as an Assistant Vice
President and commercial lending officer.
Ms. Champagne has a deep understanding of IRC Section 1031.

well as industry conventions for both the California Association of
REALTORS® and the California Escrow Association. She has given over
2000 tax-deferred exchange seminars, including a presentation to the
Long Beach office of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Her professional affiliations are varied and include Commercial Real
Estate Women (CREW), an affiliate member of Certified Commercial
Investment Member (CCIM), Los Angeles and Southern California chapters,
American Escrow Association (AEA), California Escrow Association
(CEA). She has served on the Board of Directors for CREW Los Angeles
and Inland Empire, CCIM Southern California.
